Karl Roberts is one of those student people from the U.K.
He’s 16 years old and likes all this internet Malarkey. About a year ago he received a mac mini for christmas and soon after joined flickr and met the flickr member Purplelime. Who was also mad for mac. from there, karl got into twitter. Where people like to tell other people on twitter what they’re up too and such and met other folk such as Graham, Chris and Sean.
A couple of months after with some book tokens. Karl picked up a book on HTML and starting tapping out some into his text editor, he felt clever and all. But lost touch with it after a while because of school. Though during the summer holiday he looked into CSS coding and ordered the missing manual from amazon. This flipped the concept of webdesign and it seemed allot simpler and easier to do and he started to experiment with it. Soon enough he decided to buy this domain and hosting for the site you are now viewing. And by using the magical application rapidweaver so he could update his blog dynamically his home on the internet was born.
Since then the custom theme has changed quite a bit until he settled with the current one. He’s also quite recently got into PHP and MySQL, working on a web application in his spare time.
He also like photography. He shoots like a Nikon D40 and uploads all his material to his flickr account, he likes to play around in photoshop occasionally but mostly does graphics for websites.
If you may not have already guessed. I want to do a career in I.C.T. Specifically something in web development, at the moment I’m in year 11 doing psychology, sociology, social care and history as options. I’m planning on I.CT. English Lit, History and philoshiphy and then do a degree at somewhere like wolverhampton university. Thats really there is to know about me.
